Holidays are finally back, students take their long break from long-winded lessons and piles of assessments stacked in front of them.
Students in the past usually take this time to either revise their homework or take time of to relax by going to the park to cycle and so on. But in contrast to the students now, even though some of them still does the same practice with the students of the past, some of them did something out of their usual boundary. Now to talk about it, you can see a lot of teenagers wearing in the staff uniform of a certain shop, serving the public.
Students are now taking the initiative to earn their own pocket money by working, 44 hours a week. Why is there such a situation that they want to earn their own money.
Firstly, of course for the main subject, MONEY. Now, we students tend to realise that ' Money makes the world go round', that we need the money for our own use. To buy our favourite clothes, games, food and so on. But there is also other things that triggers young teenagers mind to work.
Secondly, for work experience. From this as working as a part-time worker, they can learn how the 'real' world is, and that they can learn from the different experiences they encountered and take them as lessons. Then when they grow up and starts working in a company for full time, they can take these lessons and utilizes it for the future.
Lastly to understand how difficult is it to earn money, and also learn that the money when they used when they were young were those of hard-earned money from their parents. To learn that money can not be spent like 'flowing water', that it comes in from one hand and comes form another.
But there are also aftermath of this.
1.Not enough time to handle his or her homework.
2.Now that they have their own money, they can spent it as much as they like.
But overall, i think a job during the June Holidays is quite good for its benefits.
One day you might even see me or any of your friends working in McDonald's on a Sunday morning. You might not even know at all...
