What do teenagers do during school holidays? Actually, there is no specific thing that teenagers do during holidays. However, most teenagers find a job to work during the holidays to work. To me, I personally is on for the idea of teenagers working.
Teenagers work because of a lot of reason. The main reason for teenagers working is because of earning money. Teenagers need money because most of them do not receive pocket money during the holidays. One reason for parents not giving pocket money is because they think that their children no need money as they need not attend school so they no need to spend on anything thus not giving them any pocket money. However, parents who have these thought are wrong. This is because holiday is the period when teenagers spend the most money as most of them goes out more often.
However, there are some students who work to help to earn money for the family income. These students most probably come from a family that I quite poor.
Still, in my point of view, if one is weak in their studies, I strongly disagree in them going to work as I think they should spend their time revising their work. This also applies to those who thinks they cannot cope or more.
But teenagers must remember to seek for parents’ consent before working as it will be a better way. If not, it will be bad if your parents find out and start scolding. Not all parents agree on letting their children go out to work. Some parents may allow their children maybe because they trust their children in taking care of themselves and also give them freedom. But some parents also think that their students should not go get a job as it may affect their studies or just solely because they do not want their children to ‘suffer’.
Still, teenagers should still enjoy their holidays.
